As my children were growing up in elementary school, they had difficulty finding interest in reading. So, what was a mom to do? Write a book that would capture their interests! I wrote a fun chapter book that was targeted for reluctant readers. Shorter chapters to help the reader feel more accomplished and keep their attention with a gross storyline. I laughed the entire time I was writing it, often times waking my girls up at night to ask them how this chapter or that chapter sounded. They didn't seem to enjoy being woken up, but they were still proud of what I was doing. It was supposed to be book one of a series of Zwarkowski stories. This is an elemetary level 3rd-5th grade storyline. I have had parents of younger children read it to their children with great feedback. Don't let the elemetary level scare you if your child isn't quite in elemetary school! It's gross and funny and will have parents and children laughing! Enjoy!
