Frequently Asked Questions

Unfortunately, not at this time..  As an alternative and holistic provider, insurance does not cover these therapies at this time.

Hypnosis, also referred to as hypnotherapy or hypnotic suggestion, is a relaxed state in which you have heightened focus and concentration. Hypnosis is usually done with the help of a therapist using verbal repetition and mental images.  All hypnosis is self hypnosis.

You can't be hypnotised into doing things against your will. You can't be forced into a hypnotic state either. Instead, you allow yourself to be hypnotised. It is a voluntary altering of your own consciousness, and you are always in control.

This is a question that comes up at times and the response that is given is that hypnosis is exactly like a guided meditation.  If you can allow yourself to relax and listen to guided suggestions, you will have success.  Typically what stands in the clients way is themselves.  Whether they've had difficulty in the past with hypnosis or the belief that hypnosis is a trance state rather than just a relaxed state can be limiting.  Working on limiting belief systems and letting go of misconceptions will do wonders!

Hypnosis is not a truth serum. Although you're more open to suggestion during hypnosis, you still have free will and moral judgment. No one can make you say anything, lie or not, that you don't want to say.

Being under the influence of any drugs or alcohol will definitely limit or hinder a hypnotic experience.  We do not recommend coming in for hypnosis until your body has recovered from being under the influence of these substances.  Regular prescribed medications are usually ok.  If you are unsure, feel free to ask ahead of time.

Most clients say that it feels like a daydream.  Like being in a zone, similar to zoning off while driving or when focus drifts to thoughts rather than on the task at hand.  This is a hypnogogic state.  Relaxed and a bit dreamy.  A transitional state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleep.

A spiritual awakening can generally be defined as a newfound awareness of a spiritual reality.  Here are several (but not all) symptoms of a spiritual awakening:

  • You've had a shift in awareness following a traumatic experience
  • Body shivering and trembling
  • Vertigo
  • Feeling disconnected from life (as if you're watching life from outside of your body)
  • Buzzing in the ears
  • Feeling depressed, anxious and overwhelmed with life
  • Throbbing sensations in your head or center of the forehead
  • Feeling more empathy and compassion for others
  • codependency
  • Vivid or lucid dreams
  • Insomnia (often waking between the hours of 2 - 4 am)
  • Increased sensitivity around other people
  • You're aware of negative habits and crave healing from them
  • Personality changes
  • Being drawn to spiritual and metaphysical topics
  • Sudden need to get creative as if you've always known how to do something you've never tried before
  • Feeling the need to purge things in your life that no longer serve you
  • Difficulty in loud situations or surroundings
  • Heightened intuition
  • Remembering past lives, or the need to discover them
  • Food intolerances
  • Fatigue
  • Craving isolation from people until you learn to heal and protect your own energy
  • Feelings of greatness and bliss without explaination
  • Craving healing
  • Having the realization that conspiracy theories are more truth than fiction
  • Finding yourself going down the YouTube rabbit hole of spiritual or metaphysical topics and spending a lot of time contemplating on how to learn more

When the soul goes through a spiritual awakening, this is often a topic that comes up because the soul starts to remember who they are/were.  A past life regression helps clients remember past lives through diving into the subconscious memories and akashic records.  The akashic records are records/memories of every life experience the soul has experienced.  This could mean you've had previous interplanetary lives, elemental lives, interdimensional lives and in between!

The purpose of past life regression is to find life patterns that need focus or healing.  This can also help with releasing past life trauma and phobias brought into this incarnation.  Past life regression is also used to help pull wisdom forward and break generational trauma.  This is the lifetime to create healing and change and to call forward the wisdom of  lifetimes to help fulfill your souls purpose.
